Historic Jamestown

Costumed craftsmen demonstrate the art of glassblowing, attempted at Jamestown in 1608, thus becoming America's first industry. Historic Jamestowne is jointly administered by the National Park Service and the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities and preserves the site of the first permanent English speaking settlement in North America.

Support for the Bainbridge Ministries

The Richmond Chapter of the American Payroll Association is continuing the seven year commitment we have had with the Bainbridge ministries. Our members collect nonperishable food stuff at each meeting to support the ministry. We also focus on collecting school supplies in July. In November, the members collect toys and money to help them enjoy a Merry Christmas.

Thanks to our members' generosity, we collected over $200.00 in checks and gift certificates for the Bainbridge Ministries.
